The MMA165i is designed for professional MMA stick welding and scratch start DC tig welding. The output power is variable between 20 and 160 amps and is ideal for for welding with 2.5 & 3.2mm rods with a max rod size of 4.0mm. Hot start is built in to allow easy starting of electrodes, just scratch the surface with the rod and it starts welding without sticking. This machine utilises the very latest German IGBT inverter technology, which has resulted in a very powerful yet compact & light machine which is very electrically efficient. This machine is robustly constructed in a strong steel case with the internal parts securely assembled to withstand knocks & small drops. A carry strap is supplied for easy transporting. The MMA165i is generator friendly, providing a quality stable generator of 6KVA+ is used.
